HOW TO FORMAT USB DRIVE USING COMMAND LINE INTERFACE (CLI)

first plug pendrive in your pc and follow this steps

step1 :- press ctrl+r and for open command prompt and type the following command

dikpart

step2 :- give the permission run as administrator and type the second command

list disk

step3 :- now select the disk you want to format if you are format drive you can select drive and you are format pendrive select pendrive partition in my case select disk 2

select disk 2

step4 :- clean your selected partition using clean command

step5 :- now create the partition primary

create partition primary

step6 :- after create partition successfull now you can ready for formating drive . fat32, exfat and ntfs three types of file system choose any one

format fs=ntfs

step7 :- your format is completed and now assign drive
